AMUST Software announces its first product designed to improve the health and performance of windows desktops.

AMUST Registry Cleaner introduces a new "Smart & Safe" technology for registry cleaning of Windows desktops.

Saint-Petersburg, Russia, August 1, 2005 - AMUST Software, the company formed in March 2005, today announced the release of its first product AMUST Registry Cleaner 1.0. The product introduces a new "smart and safe" technology for registry cleaning to fix system problems and improve the performance of Windows desktops. The product is intended for home and small business users, and is simple and safe to use by an ordinary desktop user.

The increasing number of regular changes in software, hardware and other system configuration leads to accumulation of system errors and performance degradation. Windows users are interested in a tool that can keep their PC healthy and its system's performance on the level of a newly installed Windows OS. AMUST Registry Cleaner cleans and repairs the registry - the most critical part of Windows system. It removes errors, fixes problems and improves performance.

"We've studied popular registry cleaners on the market and realized that there is a need for a product that works properly, safely and effectively" - said Andrei Baronov, CTO, AMUST Software. "We have created AMUST Registry Cleaner to address this need. In addition, we recognized that there is users' misperception about registry cleaning in general, and published the document "4 Myths about Windows XP Registry Cleanup" to answer some of the questions".
The document is available at http://www.amustsoft.com/RegistryCleaner/myths.asp

The key features of AMUST Registry Cleaner are:

  • SmartScan™ - Scans and repairs the registry based on knowledge. SmartScan does the job the proper way - if it is not sure about the registry record it doesn't discard it but works to find out if the record is valid and important. The approach eliminates the risk of something important being erased and results in a healthy registry, with less errors and better computer performance.
  • IntelliCompact™ - Reduces the registry size and defragments it by removing the holes and empty spaces in the registry tree, causing the system to run smoother and faster.
  • Undo - Lets rollback any change made to registry during repair if the change negatively impacted system operation. Unlike full restore the undo feature provides for rollback of any change without affecting other parts of the registry.
  • Intuitive Interface - Built with clear design and usability in mind, the user interface provides the highest level of program function availability to users of any experience level. Advanced features are available for sophisticated users as well.

AMUST Registry Cleaner is priced at $29.99 per Windows computer with volume discounts.
